Nested Numbered Lists not numbered correctly after pasting

I’ve noticed an issue with Lists where a parent’s child list does not always reset the count with the next Parent List.

Examples:

Manually created list within Obsidian:

  1. Main Heading
    1. A Sub
    2. B Sub
    3. C Sub
  2. Main Heading 2
    1. A Sub

If I Copy the list above then paste the list the second parent children do not reset and instead turn into a continuation of the first parent list’s children.

  1. Main Heading
    1. A Sub
    2. B Sub
    3. C Sub
  2. Main Heading 2
    4. A Sub

Obsidian Version 1.8.9 (Installer 1.8.9)

Thank you, this seems to happen only while pasting, not if the list is manually entered.

Yes!

I noticed as I’m moving some notes into obsidian manually from a PDF and noticed the issue initially with a different format (Academic) with Roman numerals, Letters, and numbers. Then switched to just numbers and when I copied and pasted I knew the issue was a bug.
