Need Help Hiding Obsidian Vault Folder on Android 12

Hello, Obsidian community,

I am hoping to get some help with an issue I am facing with my Obsidian vault on Android 12. The vault assets are flooding my gallery and are accessible by other apps like OneDrive. I have tried creating a “.nomedia” file in the folder, but it does not seem to work.

I am looking for a solution to hide the Obsidian vault folder from being accessed by other apps. If anyone has any experience with this issue or has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate your input.

Details about my setup:

  • Device: Android 12
  • Obsidian version: latest-version
  • Steps already tried: Creating a “.nomedia” file in the folder
