Navigation menu does not appear sometimes in Apple Vision Pro

More often than not, I am unable to access the navigation menu in the Apple Vision Pro of Obsidian. When I first open up Obsidian in my AVP, it looks fine, but then menu accessibility disappears after using the app for a few minutes - this happens every single time I try using it in my AVP. See attached screenshot.

Not being able to Search or access a list of my Files makes the AVP version of Obsidian unusable for me, sadly.

I am still able to use Obsidian on my other devices, but I’ve been relying on the AVP more because of my visual issues (and the AVP’s accessibility features). I do understand why the AVP version wouldn’t be a priority for the Obsidian team, though, but thought I’d post about this bug here, just in case.

Thanks for all that you do,

Can you please show your “Show debug info”?

Bug reports need to follow the template so the issue can be reproduced. But also, if you share the info, sometimes the cause can be discovered.

There are also a couple of existing threads. I have no idea if they will address your issue in any way. This thread talks about a CSS tweak for some elements being unselectable. Maybe there similar things to do with CSS related to disappearing elements.

But the first thing to do is share whether you’ve tried the other trouble-shooting steps. Are you testing with community plugins turned off? Is your app up to date, including the installer? Have you tested with the default theme and no CSS snippets? Did it ever work, or has this behaviour always happened?

(Since it happens after a time, I doubt it’s CSS. But who knows. Hopefully a simple fix like “clear some cache” can be found.)
