Multiple instances of a footnote get rendered unexpectedly

Use case or problem

I use footnotes as a reference mechanism, but the way Obsidian renders the second and further instances of a footnote is unexpected (it renders them as “1-n” instead of “1”). See Footnotes with same numbers produce weird results - #8 by WhiteNoise for context.

Proposed solution

Render all footnotes of form “1” as “1” instead of “1”, “1-1”, “1-2”, etc.

Probably undesirable: use another character to mark references and only apply this feature request to that character leaving ^ untouched.
