Multiple Canvas features not working as described on Obsidian Help

Steps to reproduce

Attempt to follow these actions, as described in Obsidian Help:

Arrange cards

  1. Selecting a card moves it to the front.

  2. Press Space while moving a selection to disable snapping.

Resize a card

  1. You can press Space while resizing to disable snapping.

  2. To maintain the aspect ratio while resizing, press Shift while resizing.

Disconnect two cards

  1. Hover the cursor over a connection line until two small circles appear on the line.

Connect a card to a different card

  1. Hover the cursor over a connection line until two small circles appear on the line.

Navigate a connection

  1. If two connected cards are far apart, you can navigate to the source or the target of the connection by right-clicking the line and then select Go to target or Go to source.

For the actions to work as advertised.

Actual result

Numbers denote the corresponding step in Steps to reproduce:

  1. I expect a card to remain being brought to the front even after it’s no longer selected. (From the description, it’s unclear whether a card moves to the front only while selected or permanently. A more precise language is needed.)
  2. Does not. But holding down Ctrl does.
  3. Ditto.
  4. No effect.
  5. No ‘two small circles’ ever appear.
  6. Ditto.
  7. No such actions in context menu. Instead, a single action exists—‘Follow connection’.

Also, re: some tips on the website:

  1. “Hold middle or right click to pan”

Seems to be a Windows-only option, with no indication that that is the case. When I right click on macOS, a context menu is brought up—can’t pan.

  1. “Snap card to grid”

No such option in toolbar anymore.

  1. Move card without aligning.

Same issue as in post.
