Moving vaults and problems with plugins

I need to move my vaults out of dropbox to a different folder on the same computer. I copied the whole group of vaults from one folder to the other.

If I remove the original from manage vaults and open that again, it asks if I want to trust and enable plugins, I do, and it all looks correct.

If I open the exact same folder in the new location, it doesn’t ask me to trust and enable plugins and none of the community plugins show up. Even if I go in and make sure the enable community plugins option is there.

I’ve tried multiple folders and ways to figure this out and I am baffled. Thanks for any help.

Ok, to fix this on Windows, I used foldermerge to make sure the original folder and the new folder were exactly the same, then made sure I used the same path and that seems to have worked on Windows. For some reason, using the exact same path on Linux is not working out the same and I don’t see the .obsidian folders on the shared folder that holds the vaults.
