I’ve been experiencing the glitch of my file content vanishing every 15ish minutes and following another answer on this forum, I moved my file location to my desktop. However, after I did that, half of my files wouldn’t open and when I restarted Obsidian, most of them had completely vanished.
I was able to recover one file using the snapshots in file recovery but I haven;'t managed to get any of the others back
Did you move the folder on your computer and not update Obsidian to point to that new folder? Obsidian doesn’t know the new location of that folder by default. Try opening it up as a new vault and click on your moved folder’s new location.
What OS? And were you using a cloud sync tool? If the files were not set to be locally downloaded, that could explain why they kept disappearing.
Obsidian can’t see files that are set to online-only.
If it was a cloud sync tool, there might be snapshots you can recover from online in that tool.
