Steps to reproduce
On the iOS app:
- Create enough notes to require scrolling in the Files pane on the left sidebar.
- Open the left sidebar to show the Files pane
- Scroll to the bottom of the list of notes.
- Swipe to close the left sidebar.
- Reopen the Files pane in the left sidebar.
Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? Y
Obsidian version 1.7.6, used test vault with restricted mode ‘on’, default appearance, no CSS snippets enabled.
Expected result
Files pane should remember where I was in the list of notes when I close and reopen it.
Actual result
Files pane goes back to the top every time I open it.

- The Bookmarks pane exhibits the same “resetting to top” behavior.
- I still have Obsidian 1.7.5 installed on another iOS device, and I tested the behavior there as well. That device shows the behavior I’ve come to expect (the files pane remembering the last scroll position). Here’s a video of the behavior on that device, for comparison: iCloud Photos - Apple iCloud
