Mobile: Sidebar tabs (file explorer, outline, bookmarks, etc) don't retain scroll position when closed

Steps to reproduce

On the iOS app:

  1. Create enough notes to require scrolling in the Files pane on the left sidebar.
  2. Open the left sidebar to show the Files pane
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the list of notes.
  4. Swipe to close the left sidebar.
  5. Reopen the Files pane in the left sidebar.

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? Y

Obsidian version 1.7.6, used test vault with restricted mode ‘on’, default appearance, no CSS snippets enabled.

Expected result

Files pane should remember where I was in the list of notes when I close and reopen it.

Actual result

Files pane goes back to the top every time I open it.

Additional information

  • Video of the bug behavior: iCloud Photos - Apple iCloud
  • The Bookmarks pane exhibits the same “resetting to top” behavior.
  • I still have Obsidian 1.7.5 installed on another iOS device, and I tested the behavior there as well. That device shows the behavior I’ve come to expect (the files pane remembering the last scroll position). Here’s a video of the behavior on that device, for comparison: iCloud Photos - Apple iCloud

Thank you, happens on android too and happens everywhere not just left sidebar

will be fixed v1.7.7
