It’s very difficult to zoom into an enlarged image on mobile because the pinch-to-zoom gesture frequently triggers the image viewer to be unintentionally dismissed.
This happens more often than it doesn’t. In other words, pinching to zoom usually results in the image viewer being closed.
Proposed solution
Prevent the pinch-to-zoom gesture from unintentionally closing the image viewer.
