Mobile Floating Action Button with Minimal theme

I’ve been using the Things theme for a while now but have decided to swap to minimal.

The one thing I miss from the Things theme on mobile is the floating action button which would allow me to instantly toggle between Reading / Live Editor mode

Does anyone know how to get this back with the Minimal theme?
