Use case or problem
We can bookmark folders now, but I don’t find it very useful, since it links back to the file explorer and I don’t want to use file explorer when I have bookmarks. It looks messy, especially if the folder is deeply nested, and make me loose focus.
Proposed solution
I thought it would be cool if we had (maybe additional) feature to bookmark folder as a “mirror”. Such a bookmark, instead of linking to the folder in the file explorer, would look similar to the bookmark group containing all the files from the bookmarked folder, as if they all was bookmarked too. Only, unlike the actual bookmark group, these bookmarks would update dynamically when we add/remove files from the actual folder.
I don’t know if this idea is better to be implemented as a core feature or as a plugin, but I belive it would make working with folders so much easier.
Current workaround (optional)
My current workaround is to add bookmarks group and all the bookmarks in it manually, but it’s not very handy when I add a lot of new files.
