I’ve released Micropatches, a collection of 19 small fixes and UI tweaks for Obsidian. All patches are off by default, so you can turn on just what you need. You can toggle each one in settings or from the command palette without reloading.

A few examples:

  • Hot corners that run commands when you hold a modifier key and move the pointer into a corner of the Obsidian window
  • Commands triggered by double-tapping a modifier key
  • Editable footnotes in the margins
  • Backlinks for individual headings, with an option to update incoming links when you rename a heading
  • A local graph at the end of the note, just above the backlinks
  • Column filters and collapsible groups in Bases, with drag-and-drop between groups
  • A fix for editor freezes when holding down an arrow key

You can install Micropatches from Community plugins. The README has the full list of patches, with screenshots and short demos.

Thanks for the last update.

Would you be so kind as to publish a roadmap to help us understand what’s currently in scope? Alternatively, do you prefer users to just open feature requests?

For example, I would like to see some/all Influx - Obsidian Plugin features.
I never worked properly on my end, on mobile.

Thanks for the suggestions! I think it’s better to open feature requests as issues on GitHub. It’s easier for me to keep track of them and discuss ideas there.
