Would there be any possibility to have meta-data for the link itself?
That could lead the way for richer queries.

I think as superset of this feature, having link types makes sense too for better organisation. I used to use TheBrain (previously PersonalBrain) which had this link type feature among nodes. Granted it was mainly a mind-map type app, whereas the graph is one feature in Obsidian but I think since the core of Obsidian is still notes and the connections between them, it makes sense. Meta-data like a node for an enterprise having multiple links with separate sub-nodes for various incidents that enterprise might have been engaging-in while in business.

Then, one of the query add-ons could be used to query for all enterprises having had for similar incidents.

A possible option now would be to use properties. Properties can contain links, if the value is only a link (if it’s text with a link in it, the link won’t work).

At the moment, the links only symbolize a connection, but fail to express “why”.
If a meaning could be added to the link itself, the whole graph would become richer, even yielding smarter results with queries (which are technically a “what-if” activity).
