What I’m trying to do
I write academic papers in Obsidian and then seperate them into atomic notes. I use footnotes, linking to the block with the annotation from zotero.
Sometimes i have to recombine these note or combine several other notes into one.
The problem is, that i then have several footnotes with the same number, making the document useless.
Things I have tried
with the better footnote plugin you can automatically order footnotes, which is very practical, but with several instances of the same number it doesn’t work anymore.
Is there any way to get around this? I am drawing a blank on this, maybe some sort of script?
