Menu/app key , don't work properly

1. type a typo.
2. select a the typo word with shift+left key
3. press menu / App key

Expected result

it should KEEP the selected word in select mode

Actual result

1. unselect the word
2. the T cursor go to first line

any action on context menu can’t be done like auto-corerct

I used latest installer to see if same issue and it’s the same issue.

All I write in English no other language installed on windows.

I found temp solution
you can assign alt+menu key as context shortcut

I can’t reproduce this bug.

If by “menu app/key” you mean the physical button for triggering the context menu in Windows, it works for me. Shift-F10 also works for me without causing the problem.

Perhaps, it is something specific to the keyboard layout you are using.

yeah it’s that contexts key.

was that on windows 11?

I found obsidian only app have this issue? other app include chromium app/ Electron.js based apps (i mainly use vscode) work normally idk why, can’t I figure out.

Ok I turned off windows prediction words future and now it works, sorry if i couse trouble.
