Plugin: Meeting Plus
A small, simple plugin for a very common everyday task.
Ever spend the first 5 minutes of a meeting setting up a note for it? Or fail to find the notes you made while preparing for the meeting? I personally hate those little chores — and I hate the endless data-sharing you have to accept when integrating platforms (calendar plugins in other note apps being the usual offenders). As an Obsidian fan, it usually turns into a plugin-dev task instead.
Meeting Plus has quietly become my most-used plugin, so I figured I’d share it in case others find it useful.
It works via calendar subscription (ics), so no extra permissions are required. Add a calendar link and all your upcoming meetings show up in a panel inside Obsidian. Click an event and you get a note pre-filled with the meeting’s info. One click and you’re ready.
I’ll keep expanding it, so feedback on features or ideas is very welcome, happy to add requested ones.
