actually, I now realise a much nicer solution is
\newcommand{\oiint}{{\subset\!\supset} \mathllap{\iint}}
you can even have an \oiiint that doesn’t look half bad
\newcommand{\oiiint}{{\Large{\subset\!\supset}} \mathllap{\iiint}}
