I can only guess it would be this one: MarkDownload (by Death.au)
The extension isn’t banned yet for me either but Chrome has invited me to find a replacement for it for weeks now 
… As a warning appeared on the extension page stating:
This extension may soon no longer be supported because it doesn’t follow best practices for Chrome extensions.
Don’t know if the bookmarklet below offers an exact feature match as I have never used any other clipping tool, but it works perfectly for my needs (and it is developed by Obsidian’s CEO):

Luckily this doesn’t seem to be an issue for Firefox. I just checked.
issue is likely because it uses manifest v2 and they are deprecating that and apps that need capabilities that are there and not in v3
