Markdown to Pages Styles

Hello! I am a teacher and I love writing my class materials in Obsidian, because I’m always reusing and recombining pieces for different classes.

However, when it comes time to print out packets, there are just some formatting things I need to do to make them nice, and it’s just better to do in Pages.

Converting to Rich Text isn’t very helpful because to style it in Pages then requires formatting everything individually over again (because elements aren’t defined dynamically as Styles).

A tool that converted a Markdown file to a Pages document, where the headings / code blocks / other formatting elements were all represented as dynamic Styles in Pages, would be life changing.

Thanks for reading,
E

I totally get where you’re coming from. Having a tool that converts Markdown to Pages with dynamic styles would be great for educators. In the meantime, have you tried using a Markdown to RTF converter? It could help preserve some formatting, though it might not be perfect.
