I am new to Obsidian. Two months ago, when I started to learn Obsidian. I recall that a new tab was opened each time when I clicked or double-clicked on an existing note.
Now when I do the same thing on an existing tab, the current tab is reused and there are left and right arrows below the tab that allows me to navigate among opened tabs. I don’t like it.
I use Obsidian 1.8.10 on a laptop with windows 11 pro.

In a web browser, clicking a link with LMB (left mouse button) opens it in current tab, and clicking on a link with MMB (middle mouse button, also known as “scroll wheel”) open it in a new tab.
Obsidian runs in a web browser called Electron. Therefore use Obsidian like it is a web browser. LMB for current tab, MMB for new tab.
