Make.md - spaces

I am struggling with the plugin make.md. I can create new Spaces with the + sign - and then? I can change the symbol, save and delete the space. But how do I add data?

In a YouTube video there is a command for this in the Spaces menu, in which you can also create Smart-Spaces. Unfortunately, my menu does not contain a corresponding command.

Is there a good guide to make.md somewhere? Unfortunately, the official support page is not very helpful.

Well, if no one will chime in, I’ll do it.

Helga, this plugin has recently gone into ver.1.0 and before there were many issues with it. Like a ton of bugs on its GitHub page. I am no authority on the plugin’s internal workings and cannot advise on its fate, but I really think you’d be better off looking for an alternative, or just…let it go.

For a Spaces like functionality? I may have seen similar things about a year and a half ago…?
I don’t remember the plugin’s name but it was something about folders and files being pinned…?
I don’t even remember Spaces in Make.md that much either…all I recall is the plugin indexing many of my files and causing freezes and being hard to get rid of…

I use File Explorer++ to pin folders and files but the Spaces-like functionality plugin…the name, I don’t remember. It may not even work for the current base Obsidian 1.8.4…

  • Maybe it was this Folder Focus Mode that I was trying to allude to…? I checked the last release date. Relatively recent.
