Is there a way to make a daily note in a selected folder? I have a folder for each month & would like to be able to right click the folder & select open daily note & have it appear in that folder.
I can see that I can right click & make a note, but the daily note that is filled out with the date is handy.

Go to daily notes plug-in, in the date format type:
YYYY/MM/DD-MM-YYYY
This way the daily note will be called, for example: 23-08-2023 and it will be located inside the folder path: 2023/08. This will automatically place your daily notes in a yearly monthly folder (if not present it will be created). Also works with calendar plug-in.
Under new file location just type where you want you yearly and monthly folders be located.
