Make a better PDF annotation in Canvas

Heptabase allows to add a PDF document into the app, annotate it, write a note on the annotation, then drag and drop that note into a whiteboard.

Here is a video of seemingly a bit older version of this feature: Notion – The all-in-one workspace for your notes, tasks, wikis, and databases.

I want the same thing in Obsidian Canvas.

It’s a good idea to add the pdf annotate function to Obsidian, which will be more convenient.
Additionally, you can use a simple pdf annotation app such as Xodo, Foxit, Adobe Acrobat, etc to do this.
