macOS 26 Tahoe lag

macOS 26 Tahoe lags with Electron apps. The root issue was identified, and it’s related to Electron overriding a private Apple API. Obsidian 1.9.14 is using Electron 37.3.0 and that bug was fixed on 37.6.0. More info:

Obsidian 1.9.10+ is slower / lags / choppy - Electron 37

Obsidian 1.9.14 ships with a newer version of electron that has a fix for this problem. You will need to download and reinstall Obsidian from the website.

I can confirm that this fixed the problem. As @WhiteNoise says, you must download a fresh copy from the Obsidian website. Just updating from within the app wasn’t enough for me.
