Mac OS App keep telling me to download Major Update

Hello,
I’m on Mac and have currently version 1.5.3 (installer version 1.3.5)
Every time I launch obsidian there is a popup telling me to download a DMG installer for a Major Update.
The thing is that I’ve already done that months ago, I’ve in fact re-installed obsidian from this major updates but nonetheless it keeps bugging me every time.

Can it this due to the fact that I’ve moved my installed app in a subfolder or /Applications instead of the top level?

How can I fix this?

whatever you have done, you are not running an updated version of obsidian.

Simplest thing is remove everything (not you vault) and reinstall obsidian.
