Looking for ways to manage attachments better

I currently use Trello for my life, but am slowly moving over to Obsidian. The only feature that is keeping me with Trello is the ability to attach documents (especially outlook emails) to the cards. I am looking for a way to add attachments to Obsidian notes without having to add them in the text which is what I currently do, but that starts to get messy quickly. I am looking for a more structured attachment process that will yield a list of attachments for each note, ideally in the right sidebar.

Also, a drag and drop feature into this area (again, especially for outlook emails) would be lovely!

Is there anything out there like this?

How about using file properties?
It can be added to the sidebar aswell

You can have a property simply named “Attachments” and put the links there.
You can even sort the attachments by type like “Related notes”, “Attached PDFs”, etc.
