In live preview, markdown formatting is only expanded for the immediate segment of text that the cursor is inside.
This extremely granular level of showing/hiding formatting is usually more tedious than helpful.
In general, my attention occupies the line-level of my documents more than any other level of abstraction, and I suspect this may be the case for many other people.
Therefore, I suggest adding an option to always expand ALL formatting on the currently selected line.
