Linking [[]] suggestion box ^ scrolling more longer it is to short

Steps to reproduce

create to files and make a link [[]] then put in the other files name then do the link ^ and in the other file have a list of 17794 characters list down

like

and make it all the way to 48 and 10 card with 48 ports

sample is below to copy and past in two files and then link them and see you can scroll pass card 3 port 01

Expected result

to create a link and then use ^ to go to card 10 and port 46 click to link it and then click to jump to it, then backlink it back.

Actual result

when ^ and scrool in box it stops with mouse scroll or when using keyboard scroll goes back to the top like back to card 01

Need to upload a video

So in obsidian you will create a link with [[]] and then when you do that a windows pops up and you scroll to find what you are looking for, but with a finite of info that scrolls back on it self [[]] my thing is when you create that link that looks like this [[B-07 RU02 Cisco MDS 9710 #^7414cb|B-07 RU02 Cisco MDS 9710 - PORT C10/P40]] and when you use the ^ to find what you are looking for to connect/jump to the length of scrolling is very small in what I am working with. So for a example I put in some info that may get everyone to understand how obsidian can add or fix this so that I can scroll more to find my info.

Because right now I have to do ^ and click it somewhere at the top of the file I am trying to link and then go into that file and then cut that ^with whatever number and then in that file scroll miles down to card10 and port number and then past it because when I use ^ and scroll I can only go to card 2 port 46 and that is it, then it will go back to the top and I am like WTF.

  1. So when you have a file that is 17794 characters list down when i link i need to scroll all the way down and i am stoped

the video will show that when you [[whatevery the other files name is^ | file name and what i want]] so when ^ the suggestion box is open and i scroll i have some many characters it doesn’t fit on this short scroll list, i need to scroll more

the only way you can understand it is to play with it your self, so if you want you can copy the card and port part and past that in to 2 different files and then create a link [[test2]] hit enter and then go back and add [[test2^ ]] then scroll and or look at the video.

This is not a bug. The pop-up menu is meant to be a suggestion that refines as you type and not an exhaustive list.

Thank you for your time with that, it does help for the time.

The problem with mine trying to do that is the space maybe. One i can do the port thing and that could work with counting the card number but that’s trouble some what because of card number jump like card 1 card 2 card 3 card 4 then it goes to card 7 card 8 card 9 card 10.

because of Craftidore from discord, I have been using something like that, and it helps jump me faster to that but I will just see ports and have to count and make sure, but now this is a code expansion issue that will help make it better.

for other reasons we may need the more area to scroll and see what we are looking for.

for mine now I can do ^p46 and see all port but when i put the ^card 10 i see card and can jump there and then cut the ^number to put it in the port number but when I use space to add the port part then it says no match because of space.
