Currently if you have either the “Linked Mentions” or “Unlinked Mentions” categories in the Backlinks sidebar in a collapsed state when you open a note that has any of either, it does not display a “count” next to them.
You must first expand them, then it lists a count. This count then remains after collapsing.
I think this is misleading. The fact that it sometimes shows a count in a collapsed state & not at others could inadvertently cause the user confusion.
I feel that for the sake of uniformity & consistency as well as ease of use in general, it would be ideal if the count was always displayed. Especially so in the collapsed state, as this give the user a visual clue that they may want to expand it & investigate further.
