Link multiple canvas elements by dragging onto one of an element’s connection anchors

Use case or problem

When you want to quickly link a single canvas element to multiple elements.

Proposed solution

To do this, it would be nice to be able to simply select multiple canvas elements and drag one of their filename labels onto one of the anchors of a canvas element. This would create the same result as if you separately dragged from the single element to the collection of chosen elements one after another.
