Use case or problem

When I’m working on writing a paper, I have different processes that I go through. I want to use 4 different documents for that:

  1. Research
  2. Thinking
  3. Connecting
  4. Final Writing

When I am working on a project I want to keep all 4 panes open, next to each other, and link heading together, so that they would scroll simultaneously.
This way I would always have all information next to the text I am writing on.
This would decrease interruptions, because I would always have all information at hand.

Proposed solution

The headings that should be linked could receive a unique ID. It could be inserted through a hotkey.
Or if I link two files in front matter they could link the identical headings of each document.
