Currently there seem to be few or any plugins that do something with modification date or access frequency of notes.
I think a plugin that can provide a bird’s eye view of the more accessed and less accessed parts of the vault could potentially be useful. There are notes that I start and abandon. There are interesting things I want to revisit but get lost in the vault. There are also odds and ends that I need to clean up.
I was looking over my graph view and was thinking wouldn’t it be cool if the nodes were somehow coded (greyed out, etc) according to how often I use them? Picture a graph view that has some parts in deep black, others in dark grey, others in light grey. You see at a glance which regions are highly active, which regions are not. You refresh your knowledge and understanding of the less active regions
Another implementation might be a tab that automatically loads a note that is modified or accessed less than x times. Or simply a way to show you the least accessed notes in the vault.
Using “last modified” instead of # visits would also work, though I think tracking frequency as opposed to date would be optimal for such a feature.
