LaTEX not rendered correctly in PDF Export if not loaded before

renders.zip (235.5 KB)

ES 2 - 09.03.md (7.6 KB)

Steps to reproduce

Open your file (i default to dynamic preview mode) and export is as PDF:

  1. If you scrolled until the end of the file before exporting it, all LaTEX characters will be rendered correctly.
  2. If you didn’t and just opened it and exported to PDF, basically everything aside from what was displayed on your screen inside Obsidian will be rendered not correctly, missing characters everywhere.
I tried to export to A4 format. Idk if it works different than others.

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? Y

All characters rendered correctly, as displayed in renders/good render.pdf

Actual result

From the end of the 1st page up to the end characters are missing, latex text doesn’t have spaces between words when it should, and much more that you can just see from an eye-to-eye comparison between the 2 files in the renders.zip
