Latex doen't work with blockquotes

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a note with the following content

>$y=\sigma(w\top+b)$
$y=\sigma(w\top+b)$

2. The first line will render correctly but the 2nd line won’t

• Operating system: Ubuntu 18.04

• Obsidian version: 0.8.2

Not sure what exactly you are trying to achieve. If you want to put the formula in the center you can use $$ formula $$

Mixing latex and html tags is not explicitely supported.
