Hi everyone,

I’ve been using Obsidian for a while and always wanted a simple way to learn foreign words without leaving my vault. Anki is great, but syncing between Obsidian and Anki was always a pain — so I built my own solution.

Klomimory is a free, open-source Obsidian plugin for spaced repetition (SRS) flashcards. It’s designed for language learners who want to keep everything inside Obsidian.

What it does

  • :memo: Create flashcards directly in your notes (no separate app)
  • :repeat_button: Spaced repetition algorithm (SRS) for effective learning
  • :bullseye: Track your progress and review schedule
  • :locked: 100% local — your data stays in your vault

:tada: Klomimory v2.0.0 — Big Update

Hey everyone! I’ve just pushed a major update with a lot of quality-of-life improvements.

:sparkles: What’s new

  • Card Navigation — You can now go back to previous cards during a session. Arrow keys (← / →) are supported as shortcuts.

  • Rich Term Mode — Term cards now support full markdown formatting: bullet lists, paragraphs, line breaks, and images. Perfect for detailed definitions.

  • Fixed Streak System — Streaks can now actually be lost if you skip days of studying. Freezes are limited to 5 (no more infinite protection).

  • Images in Terms — Embed images directly inside Term answers.

  • Scrollable Long Text — Long answers are now scrollable, with text left-aligned for comfortable reading.

  • Edit Cards Mid-Session — Fix typos or mistakes right during a study session without losing your progress.
