Issue: pressing option+5 (mac) in obsidian produces “%”. outside of obsidian option+5 produces “[”. I want the latter.

How can I set obsidian to just use the layout the keyboard always has?
(I have never encountered this issue, of switching layouts per app).

I found out why.

The keybinding was mapped to something in obsidian in the hotkeys section of the settings.

This mapping ‘dominates’ the global one of MacOS.

So Obsidian receives the same keyboard, but one needs to make sure that the keyboard is not remapped within obsidian itself.
