Steps to reproduce

Open any Vault
Open a note and place the cursor anywhere
Start scrolling through apps with Alt+Tab and then Tab multiple times to go through all of the apps
Come back in obsidian to a bunch of indentations

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N] Yes, it happens in the default sandbox with default theme etc…

Additional information

Since obsidian doesn’t give this info i will:

  • OS: Arch Linux with latest updated kernel and packages (kernerl 6.9.8-arch1-1
  • DE: Kde Plasma 6.1.2 (KDE Frameworks 6.4.0, Qt: 6.7.2)
  • Display server. Wayland

are you using the appimage from our website?

I’m not OP, but I’m facing the same issue. I am using the official AppImage, and it’s been going on for a while. I have all plugins disabled and used the default theme.

I noticed that on the first Alt-Tab, it’s fine. But after I cycle through two or more windows, Obsidian will input indentations.

Thanks. Please open, a bug report to KDE.
