Kanban list able to sort by due date?

What I’m trying to do

Plugin Kanban Version: 2.0.51 By mgmeyers needs the cards to sort by Due Date in the lists.

Things I have tried

Tried the Due Date from plugin Tasks Version: 7.21.0 By Clare Macrae and Ilyas Landikov (created by Martin Schenck).
Tried the reminders from plugin Reminder Version: 1.1.21 By uphy.
Tried the sort from plugin Custom File Explorer sorting Version: 3.1.6 By SebastianMC.
Tried the Obsidian Forum.
Tried quality search engine on the Internet.

Curiously, when adding a note in a Kanban/Board/List/Card, the note saves in my Contacts directory? Surely this should/could be saved in the Kanban directory?

Work around is to manually drag and drop, however when updating a card’s Due Date, an automatic sort update would remove errors and inconvenience.

Solved the Kanban Card note placement, it’s sorted alphabetically in Files root. Work around here is to name each Kanban Card note with: Kanban <textFollowedHere>.
Then Kanban Card notes will be stored nicely in Files/root/Kanban/note.
