Jump to Homepage

Use case or problem

I have a page, in fact it’s the first one that I created, called “index” which is a list of links to my most-referenced pages, a handful of handy weblinks (I find this better than the browser bookmarks) and a search for everything marked as ‘#todo’. It works as my homepage, or maybe a dashboard. I slowly groom it, and return to it often. Opening it, however, is just a bit more of a hassle than I’d like it to be.

Proposed solution

I’d like the ability to attach a hotkey to a page. Failing that, just having a dedicated “homepage” button on the left bar, maybe between “Open quick switcher” and “Open graph view” that I can turn on and all it does is take me to my homepage.

Current workaround (optional)

The ‘star’ core plugin gets me to it in two mouse clicks. I almost always seem to have the search tab open on the left.
