Issue with Iconic Plugin Not Changing Certain Note Property Icons

Hello,

I’m having trouble with the Iconic plugin in Obsidian. It can change some note property icons, but others remain unchanged. I have tried:

  • Uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin
  • Uninstalling and reinstalling Obsidian

Unfortunately, neither of these steps resolved the issue. Has anyone experienced this or found a solution?

Well, always look at the release date of plugins… and then if they’re still maintained. That’s the key to your question.

Plugins work as long as Obsidian’s main code doesn’t change radically, thus making plugins obsolete.

I checked the plugin’s GitHub page today, and I noticed that someone reported the same issue about 15 hours ago. So it seems the problem is coming from the Iconic plugin itself, not my setup. I’ll wait for an update or fix from the developer.

A new update has broken this again for me. Someone else having the same problem?

I updated the Iconic plugin to v1.1.8 today, and it seems the problem is solved now :smiley:
