Issue with Battery Drain after Closing Obsidian on macOS with iCloud

Dear Obsidian Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue with Obsidian on my MacBook Pro 2020 running macOS Sequoia, which appears to cause rapid battery drain when used in combination with iCloud Drive. Here’s a detailed description of the problem:

  1. When I use Obsidian with a vault connected to an iCloud folder, the computer fails to fully enter sleep mode after the lid is closed.
  2. Even after I quit Obsidian, something seems to continue running in the background, and the battery drains quickly while the MacBook is closed (at a similar rate as when it is actively being used).
  3. If I do not open Obsidian during a session, the Mac enters sleep mode correctly, and the battery consumption is minimal.

I suspect the issue might be related to how Obsidian interacts with iCloud Drive or possibly with background processes that remain active after the app is closed.
