Hello I’m new to obsidian and I’m currently trying to figure out how I can have images contained within my note and not having it move over to a file and just link to it I wanted it all bundled together so if I decide to give someone that note the image file will be embedded into that note just like it would from when I was using onenote.

I don’t think that’s a possibility currently, but maybe a plugin like Markdown export can help you keep them together. I’ve not tried it myself but it claims it can export a note with images to html or markdown.

Currently there is no possibility natively.obsidian image inline plugin, which is still in beta, allows you to do this, but it requires a very long url, to work in base64, which can be annoying with the space it takes up in the note.
To produce this simply image:

It might be worth adding a like to the requests for Textbundle/TextPack support. Those formats are basically markdown with images bundled.
I saw this posted as a feature request and thought to mention it here as a plugin. Anyone else interested?
