Is there a way to underline text?

I’ve searched the help files for markdown syntax and there doesn’t seem to be a way to underline text. If that’s true, is there another way I can fairly easily do it, say with minimal HTLM? (I know very little HTML). TIA!

Try <u>|</u>. Replace the pipe character with your word(s).

I’m obliged to point out that in text you expect other people to read on a computer, underlining text is bad because underlines mean links.

Obviously in your private notes you can underline whatever the heck you want :grinning:
