Is there a way to show linked notes in filtered Graph View?

Hey everyone!
I have a question about graph view and hope you can help me. Really sorry if it has been answered before, but I can’t find it.

I’m trying to combine the daily notes plugin and the graph view to form a timeline. Basically I’ve linked each page of the diary to the previous day and the day after. If I now filter the Graph View for my tag #Diary, I get a string of days… so far so good.

But I’d love this timeline to show what I have been working on and doing each day… Let’s say I add a diary entry with links to one of the days:

(Please note that the “Lua” note exists, but the “Enki” note does not.)

If I now open the graph view again, the “Lua” note doesn’t appear (obviously, it doesn’t contain the #Diary tag), but it does show me a link to the non-existent “Enki” note (which disappears the moment I create it):

I was wondering… is there a way to show these directly linked notes in the graph view, in the same way the non-existent “Enki” note is showing?

Thank you so much for your help in advance!

I think there isn’t a way to do this. The filter is a search, and search relies on attributes of the files themselves, so there isn’t a way to know if a file is linked to by another.

But a related thing you could do is open the local graph, which shows what’s connected to the current file. https://help.obsidian.md/Plugins/Graph+view#Local+Graph
