Is there a way to select the text of a just a few lines using keyboard shortcuts?

Using Cmd (⌘), Shift (⇧), and Right-Hand arrow (→) keys, one can select a line of text in Obsidian.

However, how does one select the next line --with the current line remaining selected?

Using one’s browser, for example, one can do this by pressing on ⇧ and the down arrow (↓).

What’s possible in Obsidian is skipping to the bottom by pressing ⇧, ⌘, and ↓.

However, skipping to the bottom of a particular note isn’t the same as selecting a given number of adjacent lines horizontally positioned.

Keep pressing Shift, release Cmd and the arrow, and press down arrow, same as what you said for the browser.
