Is it correct that the Tasks themeable feature only works on task queries?

I copied some snippets from the showcase for tasks themeabilty, and see that the formatting is only applied to tasks listed under queries. The original tasks do not pick up the styling.

What do you consider to be tasks themability?

I’d guess yes. But if you link to the stuff you’re talking about, someone could look at it and give a firmer answer.
