I apologise if this should have been filed as a FR instead — I went back and forth over which was correct. While I am asking for something, I settled on bug since it was something available in a previous version of iPadOS (18) that seems to have broken with iPadOS/iOS 26. Given the default keybind is still set the same way, it might just be an unknown change. If I was wrong with my assumption, please let me know and I’ll re-post correctly.
Steps to reproduce

Open obsidian on a device with either iPadOS or iOS 26.2 and external keyboard capable of using keyboard shortcuts.

Make sure the hotkey for “Open settings” is still
cmd+,which is the obisidan default. -
Press the hotkey
Cmd+,to bring up Obsidian settings.

Yes — tested in a fresh test vault: restricted mode on, no css, default theme.
Expected result
I would expect Obsidians settings to open with the cmd+, hotkey as it did in the previous version of ipadOS (18). If this is no longer intended behaviour, it does not line up with obsidians continued assigning of this keybind as default.
Actual result
Apples Settings App is opened instead and replaces Obsidian as the active app. While this might be considered a new global shortcut, some other apps (such as Drafts) will trigger their own apps settings with the cmd+, shortcut, leading me to assume it can still be intercepted by apps and only defaults to Apple Settings app if an app does not assign it.
