Interlinear Bible with Obsidian Built In (non-PKMS usecase)

I just put my project into beta and would love some testing feedback from folks who are more advanced Obsidian users who might find anything obvious I missed.

Bruhman Translator’s Bible is meant to be a Bible which happens to have Obsidian built in, rather than something you drop into your personal vault.

It’s structured to allow you to study the Bible in the original Hebrew and Greek, and gives you a place to create your own personal translations. In the plainest terms, it’s turns your King James Bible into a crossword puzzle or Sudoku book. The idea is you come away with a deeper and meaningful understanding of the Bible by studying the original language and then developing your own translations. You could also use it to create your own commentaries.

If anyone was wondering if there was a use for Obsidian besides PKMS, this is it. Obsidian turned out to be an amazing platform. Now that development is done I am so excited to be able to spend my time using it.

I built this using mostly free resources found on Github in the public domain so I wanted to put this back, in kind.

I know this type of thing isn’t for many folks, but I would love any feedback from anyone who might be interested!

This sounds like quite a project! Congratulations!

Sorry, this isn’t plain to me at all. The King James is in English (not Greek or Hebrew) and as far as I can see from skimming the README, isn’t involved. The format and experience of using the vault (again from a skim and limited understanding) don’t sound like they resemble either kind of puzzle even metaphorically.

You’re right! Thank you for the feedback. Forest for the trees…
