Interactive local PDF question

To start, I just wanted to praise the ability to export PDFs. When I opened my first exported pdf, I saw the links and had this brief moment of excitement considering that it may have actually included the notes from the page I exported.

When I realized the links were meant for the publish sites, I was intrigued with the idea of being able to export fully interactive parts of a vault.

Does anyone know how this could be accomplished?

I am considering that it may be my best bet to try to design notes with PDFs in mind. By that, I mean only including links to the note itself, and using either blocks or heading links to allow for document navigation.

I think you jumped to conclusions too soon. The internal-links are a leftover and will be removed from the next release.

I am not sure if you are envisioning an export to pdf as some sort of publish to website alternative.

You can open a feature\plugin request for that.
