The latest version of Things (version 3.19.5) has added this integration.

  1. Things > Settings > Quick Entry
  2. Install and run Things Helper.
  3. Select text in Obsidian and press Control + Option + Space (or whatever your keybinding is).
  4. Obsidian will prompt you if you want to open the link.
  5. Things’ Quick Entry sheet will be populated with an Obsidian link.

There’s a plugin that I found a while ago but forgot to circle back here and add.
